Already a YNAB user and just need a half hour of live support? Book that here.

Do you need a budget?

Tired of scrambling for cash at tax time? Not sure how to ride out the lean months or how to be financially smart during flush months? Always feeling guilty about spending on Present You instead of saving for Future You or paying off Past You’s debt?

I’ve been there. Between the seasonal swings in my income as a freelancer and my spouse’s unpredictable bonuses, I know there’s no such thing as a normal month. And when there’s no normal, how do you plan?

I’ve tried everything from elaborate spreadsheets to just trying to keep our checking account balance above $3,000. I always felt like I was standing on one leg on a cliff edge, waving my arms for balance. After two kitten-saving emergency surgeries in a row*, I finally Googled “I need a budget”. I found You Need a Budget (YNAB), and have been breathing easier since. If you’ve also been struggling with your cash flow, let’s find out if YNAB is right for you!

I want to book a YNAB Fit Check!

Why a Fit Check?

You Need a Budget (YNAB) is a phenomenal tool for allocating, forecasting and tracking your money. It has a steep on-ramp though; before you spend 3+ hours getting set up and learning about the YNAB method, let’s make sure it actually does what you need it to! During our 30-minute Fit Check call we’ll discuss your personal financial goals and work together to answer these questions:

  • Are YNAB (the method/philosophy) and YNAB (the software) the right tools for you and your goals? This is an important question even if you’re already using YNAB!
  • If YNAB is the right path, is working with a YNAB coach for you?
  • If working with a YNAB coach is the right path, am I the right coach for you?

During our call, I’ll ask you about your learning style, your past budgeting attempts, and help you figure out what steps to take next. This call also gives us a chance to make sure we’re comfortable with one another. If you decide by the end of your call that you’re ready for a coach, we’ll discuss next steps.

I am ready!
